Unspill-a-Bowl - Advance Pet Product
As a pet owner, I was always frustrated by the messes my furry friend’s meals would make. Whether it was food spilling out of the bowl onto the floor or water splashing everywhere, it seemed like I was constantly cleaning up after mealtimes. I searched for a solution, but all I could find were bowls with mats to contain the mess – there wasn’t a single bowl that was designed to prevent spills in the first place. Since I was already working with an inventRight Coach on my Pendant Saddle™ chain idea, I decided to take matters into my own hands and see if I could design a bowl that would keep food and water where they belonged. That’s when I came up with the idea for Unspill-a-Bowl®. I started experimenting with different shapes and angles, and eventually hit upon the perfect design: a uniquely rounded rim that guides food into your pet’s mouth, preventing spills and messes when eating or traveling. Pendant Saddle™ Chain - Adrienne Designs
I’ve always been super frustrated with seeing my necklace clasps (which I think are unattractive) sitting next to my pendants. I was so conscientious about the clasp, that I’d frequently check my necklace and slide the clasp to the back every hour or so.
Once I signed up for coaching with inventRight, I decided to see if I could come up with a solution that didn’t require adding a counterweight to the necklace. Initially, I tried to solve the problem by changing how a pendant hangs on a chain. That went nowhere. I then changed my perspective and started to focus on the chain. Almost instantly, the Pendant Saddle idea came to mind. I had a jeweler make a prototype for me to test and it worked beautifully. With the Pendant Saddle, the pendant itself becomes the counterweight to the clasp which keeps the chain from moving and the clasp from wandering to the front. Although several lawyers didn’t think the idea was patentable, I now have a utility patent on it.
